Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) in Primary Care

Please join us for an exciting and interactive education session for all of the team working in Primary Care; clinical and non-clinical team members are welcome.  This includes front and back-office administrative staff, management and all clinical members of the team.  The session’s learning objectives include:

• Know what a PPG is and why they were created
• Be able to state who could and should be involved in your PPG
• Reflect what makes a good PPG and reflect on how that can benefit your GP Practice
• Be incentivised to actively take a role in recruiting for, or collaborating with, your practice’s PPG
• Have the opportunity to ask questions from our PPG expert panel

This session is designed to be a useful refresher for those already involved with their PPG, but also to entice new members of the team to realise their potential in recruiting for, and working with, their practice’s PPG.  We will also be looking at PPG useful tips, virtual PPGs and the future of PPGs within the wider PCNs.
