You are invited to join Dr Olwen Wright ,GP Multi-Professional Educator with the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Primary Care Training Hub to discover more about the role of Labs in Primary Care.

The aims of the sessions are;

The role clinical laboratory tests have to diagnose, monitor and treat diseases.

Understanding the PSA and FIT tests role in aiding earlier cancer detection.

Understand when to do CA-125 and the red flags ovarian cancer.

Understand when to do faecal calprotectin and its role in detecting inflammatory bowel disease.

Understand when to test for coeliac with tTg.

Learn about Primary Care Diagnostic Pathway for Lower Gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms.
