Session designed to improve knowledge and competence on when to order a ca-125.tTG and faecal calprotectin test.

We will discuss the new Primary Care Pathway for Lower Gastrointestinal symptoms. Opportunity to interact on case history.

Learn how to be more confident in managing these common symptoms and role lab tests.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand when to do CA-125 and the red flags ovarian cancer.
  • Understand when to do faecal calprotectin and its role in detecting inflammatory bowel disease.
  • Understand when to test for coeliac with tTg.
  • Learn about Primary Care Diagnostic Pathway for Lower Gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms.
