Formally known as link nurse training/ LIS update
The online session is hosted on the Training Hub Learning Management System (LMS) relevant to Worcestershire county Primary Care GPs, Practice Nurses and other members of the MDT. Who actively manage diabetes and have experience with managing patients on multiple therapies including insulin.
The sessions are repeated on multiple dates so you only need to book one session.
Please note your details (name and surgery) will be passed on to the organising team. If you do not wish for this to happen please inform us at the Training Hub before you book.

FACE TO FACE - AUTUMN 2024
Are you a Practice nurse, District nurse or trained nurse in a Community Hospital?
Would you like to:
- Network with other nurses in similar roles to you
- Meet up with local Acute Trust Diabetes Specialist Nurses and Dietitians
- Update your knowledge and skills on;
- Non-insulin treatment for diabetes
- Foot care, (podiatrist led session TBC)
- Psychological support, (talking therapies led session TBC)
- Case studies using continuous glucose monitoring to review insulin regimens
- Please feel free to bring any of your own to share
- Refreshments provided
