Job summary

 

St Johns House Medical Centre, Worcester is looking for a committed salaried GP to join our practice team as we look to grow our team in preparation for new challenges post-COVID.

The Team

Young, dynamic GP team who work extremely well together

Excellent ANPs and a paramedic

Excellent pharmacy team (two clinical pharmacists and PMCs) who deal with all medical related queries and offer a duty pharmacist daily

Innovative frailty and care home services with GP leadership

Strong links with social prescribing, including mental health and well-being support

Open door/supportive team. There's always someone to ask or just to share a problem or some humour

Daily paid coffee break and chat

 

Fully engaged with PCN. Partner is Clinical Director for Worcester City. Opportunities for more collaborative working and new primary care roles

 

Main duties of the job

 

The Role

4 to 8 sessions, flexible around your ideal

Newly qualified GP welcome

Interests and personal development strongly encouraged

Support for being/becoming a trainer for interested candidates

 

Mentorship for portfolio roles, including future leadership roles in the wider community/health care

Consistently benchmarked as high performing in CCG IQSP visits across a range of indicators, including referrals and prescribing

MDT with social and community care, weekly

Twice weekly case discussions and referrals meetings
