PCN Business Administrator

Worcester City Primary Care Network is seeking a proactive and passionate individual to join our dynamic team as a PCN Business Administrator. Our network comprises 9 GP practices covering a patient population of approximately 125,000, and we are dedicated to improving healthcare delivery in Worcester City.
Key Duties:
- Preparation of management accounts
- Creation and presentation of reports to identify results
- Accurate entry of financial information into accounts software
- Handling invoices for budget holder approval and payment of approved supplier bills
- Completing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving queries
- Dealing with finance-related queries from practices
- Raising invoices for funding claims and completing monthly ARRs claims
- Maximizing PCN income by optimizing income streams such as NHS contracts, claimable services, and training funds
- Providing administrative support to the management team and day-to-day operations
General Responsibilities:
- Aligning service delivery with the PCN's objectives
- Collaborating with colleagues to support organizational goals
- Contributing to the PCN's strategic vision and objectives
- Ensuring compliance with corporate governance and statutory requirements
- Representing the PCN at external meetings when necessary
- Planning, allocating, and directing workloads to achieve deadlines and service standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience in financial or administrative roles
- Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Familiarity with NHS contracts and financial processes is desirable
