Scoping Advanced Practice in Primary Care 20-21 - Survey

Many thanks for taking the time to read this during this extremely busy time.

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Training Hub and Health Education England would like to gain an understanding of current advanced practice workforce within primary care.  This information will be used to understand and inform the development of future education, training and support for you and also around workforce needs for the future.

It may be that you have an advanced job title or see patients who present with undifferentiated/undiagnosed symptoms and conditions and if this is you, the hope is to be able to offer CPD and support opportunities.  The aim is to support practitioners to reach their potential and to achieve the standards identified in the HEE ACP Multi-professional Framework.

Within the Midlands region there are opportunities to join with other advanced practitioners from a range of clinical settings for training opportunities.  There is also a quarterly Midlands ACP Forum virtual session that you are welcome to attend which provides updates on both national and regional work, alongside the opportunity to get to know your peers.  These sessions can be joined as and when you choose. The contact for this is Mary Hutchinson Mary.Hutchinson@bcu.ac.uk

You will be informed of opportunities as they arise and kept up to date with the developments of the HEE Centre for Advancing Practice and the various routes to recognition of working at an advanced level as they become available.

The short survey can be found on the link below and we value you taking the time to complete it.
